Making Past Transgressions Evaporate--That's What Friends Are For At InsolvenCity's Water Authority

If you ever -- after being caught standing over the mutilated corpse of your enemy, holding the bloody knife you used in an ambush recorded by a couple of surveillance cameras -- hear your defense lawyer ask, 'What in the hell do you expect me to do?,' the correct response:

'Just get Scott Kunka and Dan Deasy on my jury, and everything will work out fine.'

Futher connecting the dots. Judge Don Walko was the chairman of PWSA when they hired Kenney. Walko's wife works for Dan Deasy. I wonder how she will advise Deasy to handle a screwed up and politically connected hire by her husband.

When will Ravenstahl be held responsible for Kenney too? I feel like he had to have some say in this hiring decision since he put Walko on the PWSA board.

Luke doesn't have a say.

Luke does as he is told.

Rich Lord could explain it (well, he could explain it he weren't so busy covering boating incidents, fantasy-world fights, two-bit bank jobs and other dog assignments.

I thought his (RL's) mortgage fraud piece was great and a very good use of reporter effort for the PG. And not just because one of the targets dogged me for months over a few hundred bucks.

Leaving a public posoition does not exempt you from the State Ethics Act. If Kenney did something wrong then the public and various prosecutors should be made aware of it.

This is just a typical Ravenstahl cover-up.

Yes, yes. District Attorney Zappala will get right on that hard-hitting investigation of List-Maker activity at the Water and Sewer Authority.

No doubt about it. The list makers run the PWSA. Just look a how quickly rates have increased due to the list maker swaps and Kennedys insurance scheme. What a joke. How do they keep getting away with this bs?!?

I thought someone filed a class action lawsuit against the pwsa? or was it the insurance companies? Here is a question: how much has kennedy and his associates collected in their automatic premiums scheme vs payouts?
