Whether one is a drug warrior is a sturdy (although fallible) indicator of whether one is a jerk.
Tolerating the imprisonment of citizens for using marijuana is not only the province of people who dislike freedom, but also a demonstrably failed, counterproductive, and immoral policy.
People who claim to be supporters of liberty and limited government while bashing gays and railing against doobies are pathetic (in other words, social conservatives).
People who claim to be supporters of liberty and limited government while bashing gays and railing against doobies are pathetic (in other words, socia conservatives)
I read that as "railing against BOOBIES". Still works, either way.
You'd rather be able to purchase bourbon from a grocer than stop the incarceration of doobie-sellers and cocaine users (with the attendant violence, Fourth Amendment abuses, shattered lives, disrespect for law, etc.)?
Nothing illustrates the absurdity of our nation's War on Drugs better than a prosecution for purchasing oregano with misdemeanorous intent.
Law enforcement personnel who wince while doing their duty with respect to drug offenses deserve sympathy and a better set of laws to enforce; those who get a kick out of it deserve contempt, a new career, and a weekly speeding ticket.

PROPOSITIONS TERMS **************** Wagers accepted while proposition posted (until removed); dds may be revised at any time without advance notice; no winner paid without ticket; all bets are action upon acceptance by management. 10% commission deducted from successful wagers PROPOSITIONS POINTERS The number expressed after a proposition identifies the line, or ratio by which wagers for that proposition would be paid upon occurrence of the proposed event. A line of 2-1 indicates that a dollar successfully wagered would generate a $2 winning (with return of the $1 wagered, for an aggregate payment of $3). A line of 1-1 indicates that a dollar successfully wagered would generate a $1 winning (with return of the $1 wagered, for an aggregate payment of $2). A line of 3-5 indicates that a successful $5 wager would generate a $3 winning (and aggregate payment of $8). The greater the ratio the first number bears to the second, the less likely the proposed event is expected to occur.) Examples: 99-1 extreme odds; remote probability 15-2 high odds; low probability 1-1 even odds; 50-50 probability 2-15 low odds; high probability 1-99 extreme odds; overwhelming probability

Did the pizza guy forget your house or is this more general crankiness?

I'm not disagreeing, but my parents can buy bourbon in their grocery store and I'd rather have that.

Guess you must really need that drink!
I just never miss a chance to complain about the PLCB.
No quarrel with that sentiment.
Apparently, people in Uniontown don't like my oregano.
