I've noticed you haven't gone endorsing any of City Council's alternative capers to scurry up at least a few hundred million dollars in the next 45 days.
I'm not looking forward to the state takeover especially since the real numbers came out ... and I'm not trusting what the state might do to us if they get the sense we might not be able to meet our obligations after we've become a third of PMRS's portfolio. If you want to call that a rotten perspective, be my guest.
I'm reminded of a scene from Spartacus:
Caesar - So now we deal with pirates. We bargain with criminals!
Gracchus - Don't you be so stiff-necked about it. Politics is a practical profession. If a criminal has what you want, you do business with him.

PROPOSITIONS TERMS **************** Wagers accepted while proposition posted (until removed); dds may be revised at any time without advance notice; no winner paid without ticket; all bets are action upon acceptance by management. 10% commission deducted from successful wagers PROPOSITIONS POINTERS The number expressed after a proposition identifies the line, or ratio by which wagers for that proposition would be paid upon occurrence of the proposed event. A line of 2-1 indicates that a dollar successfully wagered would generate a $2 winning (with return of the $1 wagered, for an aggregate payment of $3). A line of 1-1 indicates that a dollar successfully wagered would generate a $1 winning (with return of the $1 wagered, for an aggregate payment of $2). A line of 3-5 indicates that a successful $5 wager would generate a $3 winning (and aggregate payment of $8). The greater the ratio the first number bears to the second, the less likely the proposed event is expected to occur.) Examples: 99-1 extreme odds; remote probability 15-2 high odds; low probability 1-1 even odds; 50-50 probability 2-15 low odds; high probability 1-99 extreme odds; overwhelming probability

Awwwwww! Ginny is soooooo nice!!!!
Srsly.
wonder which bugs you more, that she does so much good in the world or that people actually read her blog!!!
my vote - both!!!
Before beginning any debate with fans of the blogger with a heart of gold, we need to establish terms.
Just how much extra credit is each exclamation point going to be worth? Do consecutive exclamation points intensify exponentially?
Infy vs. about a thousand That's Church disciples.
Sounds like a fair fight. Should be fun.
Ouch, you're not going to like the post I'm planning on publishing tomorrow night. I sold out for creme brule, and I even drove myself.
"HATER!" exclaimed Ms. Mon, with great sarcasm. "You wish you had those legs. In fact, so do I."
So Bram, I can buy you for some bread pudding?
Lease, possibly.
All this talk of food is going to make Paul Costa hungry.
Absent government intervention with respect to reports of a dozen cases of international kidnapping, Bram, you're probably safe.
On the creme brulee issue.
Your remarkably persistent adoration of the Not-So-Great InsolvenCity Parking Garage Sale, however, is a different kettle of rotten fish.
Everybody needs a hobby.
