- Fetterman (left) is the one who raises hell for his constituents to protest a swollen corporate freeloader's abuse of his town; Ravenstahl the one who raises hell with police outside a Steelers game, or repeatedly crashes an event on private property (after being told he isn't welcome) in pursuit of a photo op with a celebrity
- Fetterman is the one who accepts arrest like a man as the cost of civil disobedience; Ravenstahl (right) is the one who uses his elected position to whimper his way out of handcuffs after a drunken scrum with police, or uses his taxpayer-funded police escort to avoid arrest for defiant non-member trespass at a country club
- Fetterman is the one with the Harvard degree; Ravenstahl is the one destined to be subjected to the third degree
- Ravenstahl is the one continuously cocooned by a gangsta-class posse; Fetterman is the one who could break a troublemaker in half with bare hands, then cause Ravenstahl and the posse to faint by saying "boo"
- Fetterman is the one who appears on national television because Stephen Colbert is interested in his ideas and civic leadership; Ravenstahl is the one who appears on national television when the dogs that answer telephones, launch their own treats and pack their own suitcases cancel on Letterman

A Guide To Distinguishing Braddock Mayor John Fetterman From InsolvenCity Mayor Luke Ravenstahl
These pointers for distinguishing Braddock's John Fetterman from Pittsburgh's Luke Ravenstahl could come in handy if the two busted municipalities ever merge (perhaps arranging an interesting race for mayor):

Fantastic analysis! Briliant! I wish that John Fetterman could be my mayor. Can we convince him to move into the City?
Infy, some of us feel compelled to tell you that they really really really hate you over in the mayors office.
You're my hero.
never really thought about this before but a merger would look pretty good if it meant Luke and this Fetterman would arm wrestle to see who get to be mayor
one problem maybe - does Braddock touch the city?
one problem maybe - does Braddock touch the city?
Sometimes when we touch, the honesty's too much and I have to turn my head and cry.
And let's not forget that the "Criticisms and Controversies" (plural) section of Lukey's Wikipedia page is almost as long as Fetterman's entire WP page.
"Stephen Colbert is interested in his ideas and civic leadership"
is that a serious comment?
Is that picture of Luke at his 30th birthday at Seven Springs? Priceless!
The Fetterman clips are available at Infinonyvision.

John Fetterman has been a guest on The Colbert Report on two occasions to discuss exactly that.
the dude's my hero. have you seen his wife?
But has Fetterman ever partied with Snoop Dog or hung out with Sienna Miller?! Huh? Huh?
So who's really superior?
I rest my case!
Not to rain on the parade but to keep everyone on their toes: my sources in Braddock say Fetterman has formed an unholy alliance with drug dealers in pursuit of his idealistic initiatives....on the other hand, what post-industrial American mayor hasn't...?
(For what it's worth from an anonymous poster)
solution: act as if we are a liberty-loving people in a free country, and stop arresting adults for recreational drugs
it would solve many problems, constitute an economic boon, improve our morality quotient and force narcs to get real jobs that serve some useful purpose (or starve)
Fetterman was featured on the cover of Atlantic Magazine as one of a new crop of visionaries. I believe Luke made a recent cover of Swirl.
Priceless round-up. I'll try to make use of it in the upcoming primary campaign.
