A Curious Coincidence?
The Post-Gazetteer who contributed to the first extended article concerning Luke Ravenstahl's marital separation is (or was, at least until arrested by Luke's storm troopers on the Cathedral of Learning lawn) the police beat writer.

I am interested in exploring alternative angles. Hopefully there's a little more to go on.
If I'm not mistaken, Sadie is a floater, or maybe a youth beat reporter.
Sadie Gurman was the police reporter until she was arrested for journalism. She was reassigned, at least temporarily, when she became a defendant. Not sure whether she has been returned to that beat consequent to withdrawal of the charges.
The younger reporters with less seniority work weekends and holidays. Nothing to see here. Good instincts nevertheless.
