Infindorsements: Judicial Candidates

Next Tuesday's Municipal Election includes a number of judicial elections that deserve voters' attention. Infindorsements:

PENNSYLVANIA SUPREME COURT

Easy call: Jack Panella (left) deserves a vote. Jane Orie Melvin does not.

PENNSYLVANIA SUPERIOR COURT
Judith Olson (right) is the best candidate on the ballot. Kevin McCarthy is next-best. If you can find two other worthy candidates in this vote-for-four race, vote for them.

PENNSYLVANIA COMMONWEALTH COURT
Not one of the candidates generates enthusiasm. Patricia McCullough comes close.

ALLEGHENY COUNTY COMMON PLEAS
Phil Ignelzi (left) is the best candidate by a substantial margin; Joe Williams also deserves a vote. After that, the only rule is avoid a vote for Michelle Zappala-Peck.

Ignelzi is too good ole boy for me. Joe Williams is by far the best candidate for Common Pleas Court. He has the proper education, experience and demeanor to be a judge.

Ignelzi may have the experience and education but he comes up short in the demeanor area.

McCullough for Commonwealth Court??!!! You have got to be kidding me!!!! She would be the last person that I would vote for.

Barbara Ernsberger is by far the most experienced candidate for Commonwealth Court. Her experience is on-point in the areas of the law that are addressed by the Commonwealth Court.

Wow...couldn't disagree with you more about Ignelzi, Comment #1. His demeanor!?! He's nothing but fair, gentlemanly and compassionate. He will be a great addition to the bench.
